Upload PDFs or use firm templates
Start from an uploaded PDF — a lender form, protection application, disclosure pack or firm agreement — or reuse a saved template. Preview it before sending so you know exactly what the client will see.
Drag-and-drop signing fields
Drop signature, initials, date signed, Applicant 1 name and Applicant 2 name fields directly onto the PDF. Fields are colour-coded, ordered logically, and take just seconds to place with a guided wizard.
Built for joint applications
Dedicated Applicant 1 and Applicant 2 name fields are pre-filled from the client record and confirmable by the signer — ideal for joint mortgage and protection cases where both applicants need to sign the same document.
Send securely through Message Hub
Sending creates a secure signing link and posts a Review & Sign card into the client's Message Hub. The document also appears on the portal dashboard under Documents to sign — no email attachments, no external signing accounts.
Sign on phone or desktop
Clients adopt a signature by typing or drawing, and can switch to their phone via a QR flow to sign on the move while reviewing on desktop. The date is stamped automatically the moment they finish.
Signed PDF + completion certificate
The signed PDF is filed automatically against the client. Advisers see it in a full document view with a certificate sidebar showing signer, timestamp, IP address, device and fields completed — evidence you can rely on.
Secure by design
Signing links use secure one-time tokens hashed at rest, only the matching authenticated portal user can complete signing, and every event — created, sent, viewed, signed — is captured in an immutable audit trail.
Drafts, statuses and visibility
Save documents as drafts and edit them before sending. Track every envelope through Draft → Sent → Viewed → Signed (or Cancelled / Expired) from Document Hub and the client's record.
One-click send for re-sign
If a signature is wrong or the document needs correcting, clear the signature and resend to the same client with a single click. The PDF and field layout stay in place; the client gets a fresh Review & Sign request.
Built for real advisory workflows
Here's how firms like yours use this feature every day.
Client agreement at the start of a case
Upload your firm's Client Agreement PDF, drop signature and applicant name fields, and send it from the client record. The client signs from the portal, the signed copy is filed against them, and you have the certificate ready for compliance.
Joint mortgage application sign-off
For a joint mortgage, place Applicant 1 and Applicant 2 name fields, an initials box on every page, and a final signature. Both applicants confirm their name and sign in the client portal — no printing, no scanning, no email chains.
Protection suitability disclosure
Send a protection suitability disclosure with a description explaining what the client is agreeing to. They review, adopt a signature, and finish — the signed PDF and audit trail attach automatically to the protection case.
Fast re-sign when something changes
If a lender pack needs a correction after the client has signed, clear the previous signature and re-send in one click. The client gets a new Message Hub request on the same document — no rebuild required.
